Competition for scholarships (Credit academic mobility) at the University of Padua (Italy) under the Erasmus + program

 Attention of students of 4 courses of higher education degree “Bachelor” specialties “Food Technology” (educational programs: “Technology of fermentation products and winemaking”, “Technology of the restaurant business”, “Restaurant technology of healthy nutrition”) and “Hotel and Restaurant Business”

Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies is a partner of the Erasmus + KA1 – International Credit Mobility project with the University of Padua (Padua, Italy), which is funded by the European Union and the Erasmus + Agency in Italy.

According to the project conditions, students of ONAFT specialties “Food Technologies” (educational programs: “Fermentation Products and Winemaking Technologies”, “Restaurant Business Technologies”, “Restaurant Technologies of Healthy Nutrition”) and “Hotel and Restaurant Business” have the opportunity to study at Padua University on throughout 9 months in 2019/2020 n. g ..

The selection of candidates is carried out according to:

– Regulations on the procedure for the implementation of the right to academic mobility by participants in the educational process of the Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies (Order ONAFT dated 11.11.2017 p. No. 342-01)

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

– To be a student of ONAFT educational degree “Master” (at the time of departure) in the above specialties;

– speak English not lower than level B2.

The winners of the competition will be paid a monthly stipend and will reimburse travel expenses at the expense of the project.

For that individual grant, it is necessary before April 1, 2018 (inclusive) to submit the following documents in the ENGLISH LANGUAGE to the Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility CMS ONAFT (room A-130, Maria Nikolaevna):

  • Application Form (Student Application Form)
  • CV (Europass format)
  • Photocopy of passport;
  • extract with grades and credits for each subject (Transcript of Records), certified by the dean’s office and in the Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility.
  • certificate confirming the knowledge of English not lower than Level B2 (preference will be given to official certificates such as FCE, TOEFL, IELTS).
  • motivation letter (maximum size – 1 A4 page)

The selection of students nominated for participation in the mobility program will be carried out in accordance with the following criteria in accordance with the following criteria in accordance with the requirements of the University of Padua University:

  1. CV, experience in former academic mobility – 10 points
  2. The success of the training – 40 points
  3. motivation letter – 15 points
  4. Letter of recommendation and social (scientific) activity – 10 points
  5. Level of knowledge of a foreign language – 25 points

 

Attention! The main criterion is academic achievement. However, with equivalent academic achievements, preference will be given to candidates with less prosperous socio-economic conditions.

Enrollment procedure The Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility CMS ONAFT informs the participants about the results of the competition. Preference will be given to students who have not yet participated in the Erasmus + mobility program.

Based on the selection criteria (for each individual item of the criteria, the participant receives points), a rating list of the strongest candidates is formed in descending order, which allows you to subsequently create a list of nominated candidates for participation in the mobility program and a reserve list. Department of International Relations and Academic Mobility CMS sends a list of nominees to the university, which accepts participants of mobility within the framework of the Erasmus + program. The final decision on whether or not to accept nominated candidates is made by the host country. In case of refusal to participate in the nominated person’s mobility program, participants from the reserve list are submitted to the host university for consideration, according to the order of priority in the rating list
