The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Faculty Exchange Program 2018

Faculty Exchange Program provides еру teachers of agricultural higher education institutions of Ukraine with the opportunity to improve their pedagogical abilities. Participants arrive in the United States for one academic semester (4-5 months) to gain new knowledge and improve their ability to teach and build university-level curricula.


 

Requirements:
– Applicants should be teaching at the university level and have a background in agricultural economics, marketing, agribusiness management, or related areas.
– Applicants must be proficient in oral and written English. All aspects of the program will take place in English; interpreters will not be used.
– Applicants must be in good health and, if accepted, will be required to have a physical exam prior to traveling to the U.S.
– The applicant’s university must be willing to continue to pay the salary of the participant while they take part in the program and to guarantee continued employment upon return of the participant for at least two years.
– Upon completion of the U.S. portion of the program, the applicant must be willing to return to their university to teach for a minimum of 2 years.
– Applicants must have an international passport valid until at least December 2019.
